How did you hear about the E-Scan Entrepreneurial Test? 

I came across the test when I was taking a course on Growth Management.

Why did you do the test? 

I was interested in finding out where my strengths and weaknesses lie. That knowledge is essential for anyone who is in charge of a business.

What did you do with the results?

The results from the test have made me look into certain areas of my business strategy, for example it has made me realize that I have to be more creative and flexible. It has given me a valuable insight into my stronger areas and how to use them more effectively and I am now letting other suitable people help and advise me in relation to my weaknesses.

Did you discuss the test with other people? What was their input?

I have discussed the report at length with one of my advisers and have produced a report for my parents who are the actual owners of the business, and their advisers, clearly outlining my qualities and strengths. From this I have developed, together with my wife, a strategy report showing our aims for the future of the company.

In practical terms what did you achieve from the test?

Since I have received the results from the test I am more confident and it has clearly shown me that I have the essential qualities to be a successful entrepreneur.

Did you get a clear strategy on how to improve your personal competences?

Yes, together with my adviser, from the results that we obtained via the E- Scan we have put together a future strategy for the company. It has also made clear to us that my wife has the qualities that I lack, making us a much better team to run the business.
